We took a side road from Orange to Bathurst, through Gowan.

It turned out to be mostly unsealed (dirt) roads and almost 4WD in places, which the map doesn’t indicate. Very glad to have rear wheel drive (ie not a front wheel drive car) when pulling two tonnes up a loose surface hill.
